This is my go-to pasta dish for a quick meal during the week.

Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 4 tablespoons marsala wine
  • 1 pound cremini mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 - lemon, juiced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 6 cups fresh baby spinach
  • - salt and pepper, to taste
  • - freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 pound fettucine, cooked accordiing to directions

How To Make fettucine florentine

  • Step 1
    Saute garlic in butter for three minutes, add Marsala and continue cooking for 5 minutes
  • Step 2
    Squeeze lemon over mushrooms.
  • Step 3
    Add mushrooms to wine mixture and cook for 5 minutes
  • Step 4
    Add cream, spinach, salt and pepper. Cook for 5 more minutes, or until sauce is reduced 1/4.
  • Step 5
    Pour sauce over hot, cooked pasta. Toss, and add Parmesan cheese over top.
