Got this off of a package of fettuccine. Can't find it any more, good thing I clipped one and saved it.

Ingredients
- 1 box fettucine
- 1 stick butter
- 2/3 cup light cream
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 - egg yolk, slightly beaten
How To Make fettuccine alfredo

Step 1Cook pasta as directed on package; drain.

Step 2Meanwhile, melt butter until hot in a medium saucepan. Remove from heat. Gradually stir in light cream, parmesan cheese, and egg yolk.

Step 3Pour sauce over hot pasta and toss to coat well. Serve with additional parmesan cheese, if desired.
