ground beef
1/2 lb
ground pork
1/2 lb
ground veal
carrot, diced
celery stalk, diced
1 small
onion, diced
2 Tbsp
olive oil
1 large
can, crushed tomatoes
1 c
red wine
salt/pepper to taste
1 box
farfalle ( bowtie pasta)
1/2 c
parmesan cheese

How to Make Farfalle Bolognese


  • 1Boil Pasta according to box ( al dente,firm to taste)
  • 2In a large skillet, saute carrots, celery and onions in the olive oil about 5 mins.
  • 3add in the meats and brown.
  • 4add the can of crushed tomatoes and the red wine.
  • 5add salt and pepper to taste and simmer for at least 1 hour.
  • 6gently stir in the Farfalle, sprinkle the parmesan cheese and garnish with parsley....Delicious
