This is an easy and delicious recipe for a meaty spaghetti sauce with a homemade taste. Everyone that taste it think I use fresh herbs. ENJOY!

Ingredients

  • 12 oz
    spaghetti
  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 3 Tbsp
    white sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    dried oregano
  • 1 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp
    dried basil
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp
    dried minced onions
  • 15 oz
    can hunts tomato sauce
  • 14 1/2 oz
    can hunts petite diced tomato
  • 6 oz
    can hunts tomato paste
  • 4 1/2 oz
    can sliced mushrooms (optional)

How to Make EASY SPAGHETTI MEAT SAUCE

Step-by-Step

  1. Brown beef over medium heat. Drain off fat.
  2. In a large pot, combine beef, salt, sugar, oregano, pepper, dried basil, garlic powder, onion flakes, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, tomato sauce, and mushrooms. Bring mixture to a bubbly hot, then simmer at low heat for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  3. cook pasta according to package directions. Drain. Serve sauce over spaghetti with garlic bread. ENJOY!
