This is an easy and delicious recipe for a meaty spaghetti sauce with a homemade taste. Everyone that taste it think I use fresh herbs. ENJOY!

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces spaghetti
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons dried minced onions
  • 15 ounces can hunts tomato sauce
  • 14 1/2 ounces can hunts petite diced tomato
  • 6 ounces can hunts tomato paste
  • 4 1/2 ounces can sliced mushrooms (optional)

How To Make easy spaghetti meat sauce

  • Step 1
    Brown beef over medium heat. Drain off fat.
  • Step 2
    In a large pot, combine beef, salt, sugar, oregano, pepper, dried basil, garlic powder, onion flakes, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, tomato sauce, and mushrooms. Bring mixture to a bubbly hot, then simmer at low heat for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  • Step 3
    cook pasta according to package directions. Drain. Serve sauce over spaghetti with garlic bread. ENJOY!
