easy crock pot mac & cheese with tomatoes

My daughter loves Mac a nd cheese, I was searching the Internet for crock pot mac and cheese. I work a lot like using my crock pot. I really could not find a recipe without having to cook the pasta first. I did not want to dirty another pot. I figured if I added enough milk and the dry pasta it might work, it did everyone loved it!

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces evaporated milk
  • 3 cups fat free milk
  • 2 - eggs beaten
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup dried onions
  • 1 teaspoon paprika, sweet mild
  • 3 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1 can diced tomato
  • 1 box dried penne pasta
  • 1 stick butter
  • - cooking spray

How To Make easy crock pot mac & cheese with tomatoes

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl whisk all the milks and egg, add the seasoning continue whisking
  • Step 2
    Reserve about a 1/4 cup of the cheddar for the topping, add the cheeses to the bowl, add the can of tomatoes to the bowl
  • Step 3
    Melt the butter add to the bowl add the dried pasta,to the bowl give it a good mix
  • Step 4
    Spray the inside of the crock pot with cooking spray, pour the pasta cheese mix to the crockot. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top,cover and cook on low for 3 hours.
