  • 1 pkg
    (12 oz) fettuccine
  • 4 Tbsp
    finely chopped onion
  • 3 Tbsp
    margarine
  • 2 Tbsp
    and 1 teaspoon all purpose flour
  • 3 c
    heavy whipping cream
  • 2 c
    fully cooked ham
  • 1 c
    parmesan cheese divided
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    oregano
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground nutmeg

How to Make Delicious Creamy Ham Fettuccine

Step-by-Step

  1. Cook fettuccine according to package directions. Meanwhile, in large saucepan, saute onion in margerine until tender. stir in flour until blended. gradually stir in cream. bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. reduce heat to a simmer. stir in ham, 1/2 cup cheese, garlic salt, oregano and nutmeg. drain fettuccine; serve with sauce. sprinkle with remaining cheese.
