decadent macaroni and cheese
I was called upon to make macaroni and cheese for a family get-together. After a little while of my sister and I playing around with the recipe, this was the end result. Pretty simple, but rich, super cheesy, and absolutely decadent. This is the only recipe we use for macaroni and cheese now :) This recipe uses a lot of milk and cheese, so it is still ooey-gooey even after baking, which is how we love it. Hope you enjoy it!

Ingredients
- 1 box pasta of choice (16 oz.)
- 6 cups milk
- 6 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 slices american cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
- - crushed ritz crackers (about 1 sleeve)
How To Make decadent macaroni and cheese

Step 1Cook pasta and drain.

Step 2Meanwhile, while pasta is cooking, melt butter over medium heat in a large pot, then blend in flour and salt.

Step 3Gradually stir in milk until thickened, and then stir in cheeses.

Step 4Pour cheese sauce into pasta pot and stir. Then pour entire mixture into a large casserole dish, and sprinkle with crushed ritz crackers.

Step 5Bake in a 350 degree oven for 25-30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
