Ingredients
- - 1 lb. box linguine
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup butter, cubed
- 2 tablespoons avocado or other oil
- 1 - rounded tsp. garlic powder (or to taste)
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 - 14.5 oz. can chicken broth
- 1 cup claim juice
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2/3 cup parmesan cheese
- 2 or 3 - 6.5 oz. cans minced clams (depending on how much you like clams)
How To Make creamy white clam sauce

Step 1Heat oil and butter in a skillet. Saute onions and clams, adding the garlic powder, oregano, salt, pepper, and cayenne. Cook onions until tender.

Step 2Add the flour and mix well, heating the flour for about 30 seconds to get rid of its taste. Pour in chicken broth, clam juice, and cream. Bring to a simmer and add Parmesan cheese. Simmer and stir until cheese is melted.

Step 3Served over cooked pasta. (Make sure to salt the cooking water for the pasta well.)
