1 mediumonion minced
4 clovegarlic minced
1 lbground sausage
32 ozchicken broth
2 Tbspcorn starch
6 ozspinach, fresh
2 Tbspolive oil, extra virgin
How to Make Cavatelli and Sausage
- Heat Olive Oil on medium heat in large saute pan. Add onion and garlic. Saute 2 minutes. Add ground sausage and saute until cooked.
- Mix Chicken broth and starch together thoroughly. Add to sausage. Add spinach and cover. Simmer on low for 20 minutes.
- Cook cavatelli in boiling water until al dente. Drain
- Serve cavatelli with sausage mixture on top. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
