Ingredients
- 2 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked
- 2 pounds ground beef 80/20
- 1 can 28 oz crushed tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon oregano, dried
- 1 teaspoon basil, dried
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 8 ounces white chedder cheese, grated
- 8 ounces parmesan cheese
- 8 ounces provolone cheese
How To Make alec's macaroni casserole
-
Step 1Brown beef...add all the ingredients minus the cheeses...simmer for 15-20 mins ...meanwhile cooked the macaroni "al dente" (firm to bite) as it will finish in the oven.
-
Step 2In a casserole dish, add the cooked macaroni and combine with the beef/sauce mixture
-
Step 3mix the cheese together and use half to stir in ...and the other half to top...cover and bake at 350 degrees covered for 20 mins until all the flavors come together and cheese melts.
-
Step 4let cool a bit and cut like a lasagna and serve with garlic bread and salad....this combination of cheeses makes this dish really different and delightful...
