An easy, delicious, and yet inexpensive way to make a hearty main dish with leftover cooked turkey, and a few items you may have in your pantry and refrigerator.

Ingredients For turkey curry

  • 1/4 cup
    chopped onion
  • 1 tablesp.
    butter or margarine
  • 1 can
    (10.75 oz.) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/4 cup
    milk
  • 1 cup
    sour cream
  • 1/2 teasp.
    curry powder
  • 1-1/2 cups
    cubed, cooked, turkey
  • parsley,
    dried or freshly snipped
  • rice,
    long grain or instant (already cooked)

How To Make turkey curry

  • 1
    Cook onion in 1 tablespoon butter or margarine.
  • 2
    Add the cream of mushroom soup and the milk; heat and stir until smooth.
  • 3
    Stir in the sour cream and the curry powder.
  • 4
    Add the cooked turkey; heat through, but do not boil.
  • 5
    Garnish with fresh snipped parsley, or with a bit of the dried parsley.
  • 6
    Serve over hot, cooked rice.
