Wonderful winter dish!

Ingredients

  • 2 jars 2 (14 ounce) jars sauerkraut, undrained (or 1 (2 pound) bag)
  • 6-8 - red potatoes, large
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 packages polish sausage (kielbasa), cut into 3” chunks
  • 2 teaspoons teaspoons caraway seeds
  • 2 - bayleaf
  • 8-10 - peppercorns, whole black

How To Make sausage, sauerkraut and potatoes

  • Step 1
    Place sauerkraut and potatoes in slow cooker,
  • Step 2
    add spices and water. (I put peppercorns and bay leaves in a small cooking bag as it is easier to remove after cooking)
  • Step 3
    Place sausage on top.
  • Step 4
    Place sausage on top.
  • Step 5
    Makes 6 servings. Enjoy! (I cook longer as I want my potatoes cooked through.)
