Ingredients
- - 1lb red kidney beans(washed& soaked over night)
- - 1large onion choped fine
- - 1 bell pepper choped fine
- - 2 celery shafts choped fine
- - 3 pods garlic choped v/ fine
- - 1 lb kabasa sausage cut in 1/8in slices
- - 1 can tomato sauce with garlic & basil
- - 1 4qt. pot add all ingredients
- - salt&pepper to taste (
- ROLL BOIL 15 MIN
- REDUCE TO MEDIEUM 20 MIN
- SIMMER 2HRS
- - afterbeans get soft place in cup15to 20 beans no juice smash and return to pot simmer 5min.
- - add rice. (in cold water 2 in above rice bing/boil 22 min. rinse to stop cooking 30 sec.
