orange and tarragon flavored meat sauce

A little different and a nice change from the usual meat sauce.

Ingredients

  • 500 grams minced beef (or 50/50 beef/pork)
  • 2 large yellow onions
  • 1 teaspoon tarragon, dried
  • 1 tablespoon concentrated orange juice
  • 1 - stock cube (vegetable, beef, pork)
  • 1 tablespoon mustard, unsweetened (dijon)
  • - salt and pepper
  • 200 milliliters water

How To Make orange and tarragon flavored meat sauce

  • Step 1
    Fry everything and mix together. Dilute with water to the desired thickness. Let it simmer for a while.
  • Step 2
    Serve with pasta or rice and some vegetables
  • Step 3
    INFORMATION: I have used a couple of fresh oranges when I was out of concentrated juice. But then I did not add water. It worked, but it became a totally new sauce. Also nice.
