Ingredients

  • 1 medium zuccini cubed
  • 2 medium yellow squash cubed
  • 3 cups butternut squash cubed
  • 1 package sliced baby bella mushrooms
  • 1 stick butter (you can use margarine)
  • 1 medium onion cut into chunks
  • 1 medium green bell pepper cut into chunks
  • 1 package petite baby carrots
  • 1 package smoked sausage sliced ( can turkey sausage)
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic

How To Make one skillet smoked sausage and squash

  • Step 1
    Melt the stick of butter over medium heat in a large skillet.
  • Step 2
    Add carrots first because they take longer to cook, cook for 5 minutes over medium heat stirring often.
  • Step 3
    Add the remaining vegetables and minced garlic stir together.
  • Step 4
    Cook the vegetable until tender. Add the sausage and heat throughly.
  • Step 5
    Do not cover the skillet. The moisture from the squash will not cook off.
