Lisa's Italian Bread Pizza
2 lblean (at least 80%) ground beef
1medium orange pepper, cut into bite-size strips
1medium red bell pepper, cut into bite-size strips
2small onion, cut into thin wedges
1/4of a bottle italian dressing
1/4bottle of bbq sauce
1can sliced black olives
1tsp chopped garlic ( i use the garlic already in a jar)
2loaf (1 lb) italian bread (12 inches long), halved lengthwise
1 pkgmozzarella cheese
How to Make Lisa's Italian Bread Pizza
- Set oven control to broil. In 12-inch nonstick skillet, cook beef, Stir in dressing and BBQ sauce add garlic.
I used another pan as my hubby don't like the peppers and onions, so in a small frying pan add onions cook for about 3 min, then add peppers
- Place both halves, cut sides up, on ungreased large cookie sheet. Broil until lightly toasted. Remove bread from broiler. Spread beef mixture on bread, add onion mixture, top with olives then Top with cheese.
- Return to broiler; broil 4 to 6 inches from heat 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese is melted. ~Enjoy~
