Ingredients For lamb cubes with sake

  • 8 oz
    boneless lamb, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • 1 Tbsp
    water
  • 1 Tbsp
    light soy sauce
  • 1 tsp
    fresh dark green peppercorns
  • 1/2 tsp
    sugar
  • 1 1/2 oz
    mixed bell peppers, cored,seeded,and chopped
  • 1 1/2 oz
    carrot, peeled and cut into thin batons
  • 1 Tbsp
    sake rice wine
  • 1 tsp
    sesame oil

How To Make lamb cubes with sake

    Bring a saucepan of water to a boil over high heat. Add the lamb cubes and boil 2-3 minutes until half cooked, then drain well, set aside. Next, Heat the oil in a wok or large skillet over medium heat. add the lamb cubes and stir around 1-2 minutes. Stir in the water to keep the mixture moist, followed by the soy sauce, peppercorns, and sugar. Add the bell peppers and carrots, and stir fry, tossing and turning, until they are tender, but still crisp. stir in the sake and sesame oil, then immediately transfer to a plate and serve. ummmm
