Ingredients
- 2 cans garbanzo beans/drained
- 1 - spanish chorizo/sliced thin
- 1/2 pound ham/cut into cubes
- 1/2 cup onion
- 1/2 - bell pepper
- 1/2 jar red pimentos
- 3 - garlic cloves/smashed
- 1 large can fire roasted tomatoes
- 1 cup dry cooking wine
- - salt/pepper
- pinch red pepper flakes ( optional)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup green olives
- 1 sprig cilantro
- 1 sprig parsley
How To Make garbanzo stew

Step 1slice the chorizo and cube the ham ( cooking ham, not sweet)chop the onions, peppers and garlic.

Step 2In a large skillet with olive oil saute everything together...drain the garbanzo beans ( soaked in water and salt) and rinse well.

Step 3add to the skillet and combine...add the can of tomatoes and wine.

Step 4add salt and pepper to taste, add in the olives, cilantro and parsely...simmer on low for at least 30 mins, serve with rice.
