ed's barbecue lamb shanks
This is my fellow kitchen katerer's recipe.Ed loves to barbecue just about anything.He says these are delicious,he uses the same marinade for lamb chops as well.

Ingredients
- - 2 1/2 lbs meaty lamb shanks
- - 1 t. salt
- BARBECUE MARINADE
- - 1 c tomato juice
- - 1/2 c lemon juice
- - 1/2 c dill pickle juice
- - 1 large onion,finely chopped
- - 1 t. coarse cracked black pepper
- - 1 t. cumin
- - 1 t. marjoram
- - 1 t. salt
How To Make ed's barbecue lamb shanks

Step 1Place shanks in a deep bowl.Combine marinade ingredients.Let stand 4 hours.Salt meat.Grill over slow coals,brushing with marinade and turning occasionally,about 1 hour or till tender.Don't overcook.
