Turkey meatloaf a la Conductoman

Steve Saunders

Whether you liked my last meatloaf or not, I can guarantee that you'll LOVE this one!! If you like this loaf, try adding 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese and 5-6 slices of crumbled bacon into the mix before baking. And for an additional burst of flavor, try using 2 teaspoons of maple syrup instead of sugar in the glaze. YUM!!

How to Make Turkey meatloaf a la Conductoman

  • 1Preheat Oven to 375 degrees. In the meantime, gather your ingredients.
  • 2Prepare a baking sheet with non-stick aluminum foil.
  • 3To a gallon size Ziploc bag or a bowl, add Ground turkey, soup mix, bread crumbs, salt and pepper. Mix LIGHTLY!
  • 4Next, add the eggs, garlic and tomato paste. Mix well, but try not to over mix.
  • 5Turn out onto prepared baking sheet and shape into a loaf. It should be about the size in width and length of a loaf of bread, about 5 inches high. Sprinkle Paprika evenly over the top.
  • 6In a small bowl mix the Balsamic Ketchup, Tobasco sauce and sugar.
  • 7Pour over top of meatloaf and spread evenly, "frosting" the sides as well.
  • 8Put into preheated oven and bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until internal temp reaches 160 - 165 degrees.
  • 9Let stand for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with mashed potatoes and side salad. ENJOY!!
