southern style meatloaf
Got this recipe from Southern Living and added my own twist to it...

Ingredients
- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- 1/2 large onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup celery ribs, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs, seasoned
- 2 large eggs
- 1 slice day old bread, tore in small pieces
- 2 teaspoons creole seasoning
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- 1 - 8 ounces can of tomato sauce
- 1/3 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce, divided
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 slice bacon ~ (optional)
How To Make southern style meatloaf

Step 1Melt butter in a medium nonstick skillet over medium heat; add celery and onion, and sauté 7 minutes or just until tender. Let cool.

Step 2Meanwhile, in a large bowl stir together ground beef, 2 eggs~lightly beaten,1/2 can of tomato sauce. 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, breadcrumbs, celery mixture,and next ingredients. Shape into a 10- x 5-inch loaf, cut bacon in half, and put on top of loaf. Bake at 350°for 45 minutes.

Step 3Stir together remaining 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce, and 1 tablespoon ketchup until blended, pour evenly over meatloaf, and bake 15 to 20 more minutes, or until no longer pink in center. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
