Secret ingredient Meatloaf

The secret ingredient is the use of cereal instead of bread crumbs. I love this meatloaf and I don't usually like meatloaf. The sauce is excellent also.

Ingredients

1 lb
ground beef
1 lb
italian sausage no casings
1 medium
onion chopped finely
1 medium
green bell pepper chopped finely
3 clove
garlic minced
2 l
eggs
1 c
fiber one maple brown sugar cereal ground in food processor measure before grinding
1 c
stewed tomatoes crushed in food processor
1 Tbsp
montreal steak seasoning
sauce
1 c
ketchup
1 Tbsp
prepared mustard
2 Tbsp
cider vinegar
2 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
1/2 c
brown sugar

Step-By-Step

1Mix first 8 ingredients together
Preheat oven 400 degrees
2Place meatloaf in loaf pan. Top with Montreal seasoning. Bake for about 40 minutes. Internal temp 170
3Mix ingredients for sauce together and pour over meatloaf. Place back in oven for about 20 minutes until sauce thickens
4Remove from oven and let rest 10 minutes before cutting.
