Most everyone likes their own meatloaf recipe, but I thought I'd add this one.

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 slices bread
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 - eggs
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/3 cup ketchup

How To Make mom's meatloaf

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350
  • Step 2
    Soak bread in milk. If you use a 2 cup measuring cup, after you put the bread in the milk you can add the other ingredients except for the meat and onions.
  • Step 3
    Mix together the ground beef and onion, then add the other ingredients and mix well. I use my hands, it works better that way.
  • Step 4
    On top of your oven's broiler pan form the meat into a loaf. Bske at 350 for 1 1/2 hours,
  • Step 5
    Let sit for 10 minutes before slicing.
