Ingredients
- 1-1/2 pound good quality ground turkey, both light and dark mix
- 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes packed in olive oil with garlic, divided
- 1-1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 2 - eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh sage, or to taste
- 1 pinch salt and freshly ground pepper
How To Make five ingredient meatloaf
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place sun-dried tomatoes and juices in food processor to puree. Put half of this into the turkey meat mix. I was able to purchase the sun-dried tomatoes already pureed.
-
Step 2Mix in the breadcrumbs and eggs.Add chopped fresh Sage to this mix. Form into a meatloaf shape and place in a vegetable sprayed dish.
-
Step 3Bake at 375 degrees for one hour. Remove from the oven and spread the reserved puree on top, then return it to the oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
-
Step 4Another way to serve is to slice the meatloaf into one inch slices and add to a skillet to crisp on both sides for an extra layer of texture.
