Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground chuck
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 1 package taco seasoning mix
  • 16 ounces picante sauce
  • 2 cups crushed tortilla
  • 1 1/4 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • - salt and pepper

How To Make cheesy taco meatloaf

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl, Thoroughly mix together the ground beef, garlic powder, taco seasoning mix, 2/3 cup of picante sauce, crushed tortillas, and 3/4 cup of cheese. Place mixture into a loaf pan.
  • Step 2
    Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, or until thoroughly done.
  • Step 3
    Sprinkle the meatloaf with remaining cheese and bake another 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted. In a 1 qt. sauce pan, over med. heat bring remaining picante sauce to a boil. Serve over meatloaf.
