tarragon chicken salad
I created this recipe from a chicken salad I bought from the deli at Publix. It was good, but expensive. Mine is better!! My daughter requests this all the time, and I make it for every family buffet event...parties, showers, holidays..

Ingredients
- 3 cups cubed cooked chicken breast
- 1 cup diced celery (include some of the leaves. i use the entire celery heart, plus an extra stalk or two)
- 1 tablespoon dry tarragon
- - salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced green onions (optional)
- 1/2 cup chopped almonds, walnuts or pecans (optional)
- - mayonnaise, to moisten and to taste
