This is a delicious congealed salad.
My family loves it, but I don't add bananas or coconut
Sometimes bananas will turn brown

Ingredients

  • 6 oz
    orange jello
  • 2 c
    boiling water
  • 2 c
    cold water
  • 1 can(s)
    crushed pineapple/reserve juice
  • 2 c
    mini marshmallows
  • ·
    juice from pineapple
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1
    egg
  • 3 tsp
    cornstarch
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese/softened
  • 1 small
    carton kool whip

How to Make Orange Delight Salad

Step-by-Step

  1. Layer 1
    Mix jello with boiling and cold water
    Let stand until thick
    Add drained pineapple and marshmallows
    Refrigerate
    note: you may also add bananas
  2. Layer 2
    Cook juice from pineapple, sugar, egg, cornstarch
    Add cream cheese
    Mix until smooth and spread over congealed jello
  3. Layer 3
    Spread Kool whip on top
    May add coconut
