I love this sandwich. It's easy, yet elegant and so very delicious. If you don't have smoked salmon, grilled or baked salmon may be substituted.

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1/8 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1 large "everything" bagel
  • 3 ounces smoked salmon
  • 1 medium leaf of romine lettuce

How To Make smoked salmon, chive and dill cream cheese bagel

  • Step 1
    In a small bowl, use a fork to smash and mix cream cheese to soften and smooth.
  • Step 2
    Add chives, dill weed and salt; mix thoroughly.
  • Step 3
    Split bagel in half; toast bagel in toaster or toaster oven until lightly browned.
  • Step 4
    Immediately spread each bagel half with cream cheese mixture.
  • Step 5
    Place lettuce on bottom bagel half; place smoked salmon on lettuce and cover with top bagel half.
  • Step 6
    Serve immediately.
