Catfish is sometimes called a rough fish, however, this recipe will soon dispell any predetermined ideals you may have had.
Catfish is considered a very good table fare by many, including yours truly.

catfish fillets
1 c
panko bread crumbs
2 Tbsp
finely grated parmesan cheese
2 Tbsp
sesame seed
1/2 tsp
cajun seasoning
salt and pepper
1/2 c
low fat greek yogurt
1 Tbsp
fresh dill, finely chopped
1 Tbsp
fresh parsley, finely chopped
lemon wedges

How to Make Oven-baked Catfish


  • 1Heat oven to 400 degrees.
    Spray a large baking sheet with non-stick spray and set aside.
  • 2Combine yogurt, dill, parsley and about a tablespoon of lemon juice in a shallow bowl
  • 3Mix Panko, cheese, sesame seeds, Cajun seasoning with salt and pepper in another shallow bowl.
    Dip each fillet into the yogurt mixture, then roll in the Panko mixture.
  • 4Arrange the fillets in a sincle layer on baking sheet and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until fish has a golden brown coating, is firm, and beginning to flake with a fork.
  • 5Serve with additional lemon wedges.
