This is a tasty way to serve salmon that my family loves.

Ingredients

  • 2 - salmon filets (1 in thick)
  • 2 - limes
  • 2 - lemons
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 inches - fresh ginger root, peeled and finely minched
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • - salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 - lime slices for garnish.

How To Make lime-ginger grilled salmon

  • Step 1
    Zest 1 lemon and 1 lime.
  • Step 2
    Juice the 2 lemons and 2 limes.
  • Step 3
    Combine the juice from the lemons and limes, the zest, soy sauce, sesame oil and minced ginger in a shallow bowl. Whisk until thoroughly mixed.
  • Step 4
    Add the filets and marinate in refrigerator for an hour
  • Step 5
    Remove the fillets from the marinade. Sprinkle with garlic powder and cayenne evenly. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Step 6
    Brush the grate of your grill with olive oil.
  • Step 7
    Place the fillets on the grate over medium high heat.
  • Step 8
    Cover and cook for 5 minutes on each side. (until fish flakes easily with a fork)
  • Step 9
    Garnish with lime slices.
