Lemon Maple Salmon

Dana Zakowitz

I love using lemon juice, I always add extra in every recipe because I just like it. So I also add a little bit of lemon juice to the salmon after I pour the sauce over it right before I wrap it up in the tin foil. But it's not necessary :)

  • 1/2 Tbsp
  • 2 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp
    honey (i used sunflower honey)
  • 1 c
    maple syrup
  • 1
  • 1 Tbsp
alcohol (i had a wine cooler on hand so that's what i used. the alcohol is just so the ingredients mix together easier)

How to Make Lemon Maple Salmon

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients (except salmon) and mix thoroughly.
  2. Cut the salmon into fillets (if not already cut). Cut square sheets of tin foil (enough for each of the fillets) and place each fillet onto a sheet of foil. Pour the sauce onto the fillet and wrap the salmon in the tin foil.
  3. Bake for 35-45 minutes or until salmon is flaky.
  4. When done, pour the juices left in the foil over the top of the salmon and serve.
