This is a great recipe for tuna patties. It can be made healthier by eliminating the sauce and topped with fresh veggies. It is a great high protein sandwich that is tasty also.

Ingredients

TUNA PATTIES

2 large
cans tuna drained well
1 large
egg
1 c
parmesan cheese grated
1/2 c
bread crumbs
1 Tbsp
each fresh thyme and rosemary minced
1 tsp
each salt, garlic powder, and turmeric
1/2 tsp
black pepper

SAUCE

1 c
miracle whip
1/4 c
ketchup
1 Tbsp
cajun seasoning

TOPPINGS

lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles
bread or buns of choice

How to Make Herbed Tuna Patties

Step-by-Step

  • 1Drain the tuna well pushing out as much moisture as you can. Mix in the ingredients for the patties and shape into 4 patties. Place on sprayed baking sheet and bake at 350 for 20 to 30 minutes depending on the thickness of the patties.
  • 2Mix the ingredients together for the sauce and set in refrigerator for flavors to mingle.
  • 3Serve the tuna patties with sauce on top and bread and toppings of choice
