fish tacos with lime sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 pound tilapia fillets, fresh
  • 2 - limes
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/3 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 8 - flour tortillas (6" - 7" size)
  • 1 cup slaw mix
  • - jalapeno slices

How To Make fish tacos with lime sauce

  • Step 1
    Rinse fish and pat dry. Cut into 1" pieces. Set aside.
  • Step 2
    Lime Sauce Juice the limes into a bowl. Stir in mayo and chili powder into the lime juice. Transfer 1/3 of lime sauce into another bowl; toss fish in it. Set remaining sauce aside.
  • Step 3
    Toss fish in flour and add to hot oil. Cook 3 minutes, adding oil if needed. Drain fish on paper towels.
  • Step 4
    Wrap tortillas in paper towels and heat in microwave for 30 seconds.
  • Step 5
    Top tortillas with fish, slaw, lime sauce, slaw and jalapenos.
