uncooked shrimp(shelled)
1 small
sweet onion(chopped)
1 stalk(s)
celery (chopped)
2-3 clove
garlic (chopped)
2 Tbsp
hot curry paste
1 Tbsp
regular curry powder
4 Tbsp
dry sherry
3/4 can(s)
coconut milk, unsweetened
1/4 c
chicken broth
2-3 Tbsp
water chestnuts
cilantro, fresh
lime juice
2 Tbsp
soy sauce

How to Make Curry IN A HURRY SHRIMP!

Step-by-Step

  • 1Shell ,and clean shrimp,set aside.
    In 2 tablespoons of olive oil, warm, the curries, for a few seconds then add onions, celery,garlic, cook until soft.
  • 2Turn heat up, add sherry,stir, then turn heat to med.,add,chicken stock,and coconut milk,soy sauce.
    Now is the time I add any vegetable I want.Peas are great here,bokchoy, your water chestnuts.
    Add your shrimp,cover, 5 min. they should be done.
  • 3I like to serve this over fragrant Jasmine rice.
    Sprinkle with the cilantro, and lime juice.
