Ingredients
- 1/2 pound uncooked shrimp(shelled)
- 1 small sweet onion(chopped)
- 1 stalk celery (chopped)
- 2-3 cloves garlic (chopped)
- 2 tablespoons hot curry paste
- 1 tablespoon regular curry powder
- 4 tablespoons dry sherry
- 3/4 can coconut milk, unsweetened
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 2-3 tablespoons water chestnuts
- - cilantro, fresh
- - lime juice
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
How To Make curry in a hurry shrimp!

Step 1Shell ,and clean shrimp,set aside. In 2 tablespoons of olive oil, warm, the curries, for a few seconds then add onions, celery,garlic, cook until soft.

Step 2Turn heat up, add sherry,stir, then turn heat to med.,add,chicken stock,and coconut milk,soy sauce. Now is the time I add any vegetable I want.Peas are great here,bokchoy, your water chestnuts. Add your shrimp,cover, 5 min. they should be done.

Step 3I like to serve this over fragrant Jasmine rice. Sprinkle with the cilantro, and lime juice.
