This was a fair swap. We swapped some chicken livers with a local fisherman in trade for these delicious catfish. They turned out simply delicious

Ingredients

  • 4 medium catfish filets
  • 1/2 cup parmigiano-reggiano, grated
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup pecans, in pieces
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 3 - green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
  • - salt and pepper to taste

How To Make catfish, smothered and oven fried

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 F. Spray a baking pan with cooking oil
  • Step 2
    In a medium mixing bowl, combine all ingredients, except catfish. Mix well.
  • Step 3
    Place catfish on greased baking pan; spread mayonnaise mixture over top of fish. Bake 25 to 30 minutes, or until fish flakes with a fork.
