I usually add a little salt to the parmesan mixture because I like my fish to have a little more taste. It's a great recipe to play around with and find what you like.

  • 1 pound tilapia fillets
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice, fresh
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon celery salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried basil

How To Make broiled tilapia parmesan

  • Step 1
Preheat oven broiler. Grease a broiling pan or line pan with aluminum foil.

In a small bowl, mix the Parmesan cheese, butter, mayonnaise, and lemon juice. Season with dried basil, pepper, onion powder, and celery salt. Mix well and set aside.
  • Step 3
Arrange fillets in a single layer on the prepared pan. Broil a few inches from the heat for 2 to 3 minutes. Flip fillets and broil a couple more minutes.
