yummy brunswick stew

I usually make this when I have left over beef roast and pork. Saves time and it's a great way to use up leftover meat. My family loves this. I have experimented and finally came up with the perfect combination of ingredients. So good!!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups shredded chicken
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded beef roast
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded pork
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon beef base (i use "better than bouillon")
  • 3 cups potatoes (diced into small cubes)
  • 1 medium onion (chopped)
  • 1 can great northern beans
  • 1 can butter beans
  • 1 can bush's bourbon and brown sugar flavored baked beans
  • 1 can diced tomato (or tomato sauce if family prefers no "chunks" of tomato
  • 1 can whole kernel corn
  • 1 can creamed corn
  • 3/4 cup bbq sauce
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

How To Make yummy brunswick stew

  • Step 1
    When serving beef roast and pork roast, try to hide some from family and keep in fridge until ready for use. Day of preparation, cook 2 or 3 large chicken breasts in broth until shredded.
  • Step 2
    To the broth, add beef base, onion and potato. Cook until tender. Add all the spices, ketchup, mustard, and bbq sauce.
  • Step 3
    Dump all the cans of beans, corn, and tomato into pot and simmer until ready to serve. ENJOY!!!
