I tried many recipes online, every possible variation. My boys do not like red sauce on pasta. This was finally a hit and had them asking for more!

Ingredients

  • 1 clove
    garlic, mashed and sautéed
  • 1 box
    lasagna noodles
  • 3 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1/4 c
    pimento
  • 3 c
    shredded chicken
  • 1/2 tsp
    basil
  • 1/2 c
    grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 c
    onion and green bell pepper diced and sautéed
  • 2 can(s)
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1 jar(s)
    16 ounce small curd cottage cheese
  • 2 c
    italian cheese blend or monterey

How to Make White Chicken Lasagna

Step-by-Step

  1. Cook noodles according to box instructions.

    Cook chicken. I prefer to purchase a rotisserie chicken to shredd.
  2. In Dutch oven or sauce pan, sautéed onion and pepper in butter. Stir in soup, milk, pimento, basil and shredded cheese.
  3. Place in 13x9 pan and layer; pasta, cream sauce, cottage cheese and Parmesan. Repeat layers.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
