tammy's fried rice
Fried rice is so easy to make and can be made using any kind of meat. I normally use chicken, ham or beef, but this recipe calls for shrimp and chicken. Again I stress that if you are allergic to shellfish, use caution and rubber gloves to make this.

Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons canola oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pound chicken tenders, skinless, diced
- 1 pound medium shrimp, tails removed and cleaned
- 1 cup carrots, shredded
- 1 box (10-oz) frozen petite english peas
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cups rice, uncooked
- 1 - egg, scrambled
How To Make tammy's fried rice

Step 1In a skillet, add canola oil and saute onion and garlic for 3 minutes. Add chicken to the skillet; cook for an additional 5 minutes and then add shrimp; cook for 3 minutes.

Step 2In skillet, add shredded carrots, peas and soy sauce; let simmer for 5 minutes.

Step 3Cook rice according to package, add to mixture, and cook until heated through. Scramble egg, chop and add to mixture. Serve with egg rolls.
