Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds chicken thigh meat, cut from bones
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 1/4 cup green bell pepper, diced
- 2 medium tomatoes, diced
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 can chicken broth
- 12 - flour tortillas, (6 inch size)
- - shredded lettuce (optional)
- - shredded mexican blend cheese (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
How To Make soft chicken tacos

Step 1Cut chicken from bone and shred.

Step 2Heat oil in a skillet. Add chicken, onion, bell pepper, chili powder and garlic. Cook until chicken is done and veggies are tender.

Step 3Add flour and stir to blend. Add chicken broth, tomato and pepper. Stir.

Step 4Cover and simmer for 45 minutes. Strain to serve.

Step 5Serve in 6 inch flour tortillas. Top with shredded lettuce and shredded Mexican blend cheese.
