Yummy lettuce wraps. I like to drizzle sweet soy sauce on top. If you can't find sweet soy sauce you can make some by adding equal parts of regular soy sauce and corn syrup

Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

Add to Grocery List

2 lb
boneless skinless chicken
1/3 c
soy sauce
1/4 c
each honey and tomato paste
3 Tbsp
rice vinegar
4 clove
garlic
1 Tbsp
water
1 tsp
each sesame oil, onion powder, and sriracha sauce
1 Tbsp
cornstarch
1/4 c
water
sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
lettuce for wraps

How to Make Slow Cooker Sesame Chicken Lettuce Wraps

Step-by-Step

  • 1Place chicken in slow cooker.
  • 2In a medium bowl place all the ingredients except cornstarch, 1/4 cup water, sesame seeds and lettuce combine well and pour over chicken. Cook on low 4 hours. Remove chicken from slow cooker and shred with forks.
  • 3Combine the cornstarch and 1/4 cup water. Pour into sauce in slow cooker. Cook until thickened about 20 minutes. Add the chicken back to slow cooker and cook another 20 minutes.
  • 4Serve on lettuce leaves and garnish with sesame seeds if desired
