shar's buffalo meatballs

My husband lived in Buffalo NY for 25 years and he says these are better. They can also be done on the stovetop

Ingredients

  • 1 -2 pound ground chicken
  • 2 stalks celery sliced thin
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons garlic minced or chopped small
  • 1 medium carrot, shredded
  • 2/3 cup crumbled blue cheese or cheddar
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 cans chicken broth
  • 1 1/4 tablespoons dry ranch dressing mix
  • 1 1/8 tablespoons finely chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons franks or texas pete hotsauce or your choice
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

How To Make shar's buffalo meatballs

  • Step 1
    Place the chicken, celery , carrot, and blue cheese or cheddar , bread crumbs in a bowl mix with hands
  • Step 2
    Take about one tablespoon size of chicken mixture and with hands form a ball place in crockpot.
  • Step 3
    In a fry pan add the olive oil ,butter, garlic and onion cook till translucent add the chicken broth heat till it bubbles pour into crockpot
  • Step 4
    Add the hot sauce and ranch dressing to crockpot after One hour. Continue to slow cook for 45 minutes. Serve an enjoy
