sesame chicken
I love Asian food. This recipe is better than most of the sesame chicken I have had in restaurants. Really good and easy to make.

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons each flour and cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon each baking soda, baking powder and sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons each soy sauce and water
- 1 tablespoon dry sherry
- 1 teaspoon canola oil
- 1 pound chicken breast cut into pieces
- 1 quart oil for frying
- SAUCE
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons each dark soy sauce and white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon each mirin, sesame oil, and fish sauce
- 2 teaspoons chili paste
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
How To Make sesame chicken

Step 1Mix together the first nine ingredients in bowl. Add the chicken and coat well. Refrigerate for 20 minutes.

Step 2For the sauce Mix the first 9 ingredients for sauce together in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil. Mix the cornstarch and water together and add to sauce. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook until thickened. Keep warm

Step 3Heat oil to 375 degrees. Drop the battered pieces of chicken in hot oil. Cook until browned about 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from oil and drain on paper towel lined plate.

Step 4Stir chicken in sauce and top with toasted sesame seeds.
