We love Italian food and I love casseroles. They are so easy to put together and can be prepared in so many different ways. Hope you enjoy this as much as we do.

Ingredients

Add to Grocery List

  • 1 c
    chopped chicken or other meat
  • 8 oz
    whole wheat rotoni or other pasta
  • 1 c
    alfredo sauce, pre-made
  • 1 c
    tomatoes, canned and chopped, and drained
  • 1/4 c
    onion, finely chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1/4 c
    grated cheese (s) of your choice

How to Make Rotoni Pasta Alfredo

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F
  2. In a pot of water, add olive oil and bring to a rapid boil. Add pasta and cook to desired doneness. Drain well.
  3. In a large oven safe casserole dish add meat, pasta and remaining ingredients. Stir until well combined.
  4. Bake @ 325 degrees F for 30 minutes or until hot. Remove from oven and sprinkle the top with cheese (s) of your choice. (I use a combination of Italian cheeses)
  5. Bake again only until cheese has melted.
