Ingredients

1 tsp
whole chicken
1 large
onion
6 clove
garlic
1 1/2 Tbsp
salt
1 Tbsp
paprika
2 tsp
each onion powder, garlic powder and thyme
1 tsp
black pepper
olive oil

How to Make Roasted Rotisserie Chicken

Step-by-Step

  • 1In a bowl mix together the salt, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder , thyme, and pepper. Set aside.
  • 2Rinse chicken and pat dry. Place the whole onion and cloves of garlic in the cavity.
  • 3Rub oil over the whole chicken then rub the spice mixture all over chicken. Wrap chicken in plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight or at least 6 hours.
  • 4Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Tent with foil if skin starts to burn. Let rest for 10 minutes
