quick baked chicken strips

I love making these yummy chicken strips. So easy to prepare, better tasting,and about a third the cost of pre-breaded from the frozen section. They are so tasty, they don't need a dipping sauce. Only if you prefer. Perfect for a snack or add a veggie or salad for a meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken tenders or chicken breast (from the meat dept.)
  • 1 bag potato chips, crushed (any flavor you prefer-i like cheddar cheese)
  • 4 - eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk

How To Make quick baked chicken strips

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. You will need: 2 bowls - one for the egg mixture and the other for the chips. 1 Cookie sheet sprayed with cooking spray. Note: If using chicken breast, they will need to be cut into strips.
  • Step 2
    In a medium sized bowl, whisk eggs and milk till well blended.
  • Step 3
    In a medium bowl pour in crushed potato chips (The finer you crush them, the better the crust.).
  • Step 4
    Mix the chicken strips in the egg mixture covering completely, roll each piece in the crushed chips until coated well, place on cookie sheet. Continue process till all strips have been coated and placed on sheet.
  • Step 5
    Place chicken in the oven and bake for twenty minutes, or until crispy and done.
