Ingredients
- 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken (breasts, thighs or a combination)
- 12 ounces bottle of barbecue sauce
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 teaspoons chicken bouillon
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons dried onion flakes or ¼ yellow onion, minced
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce

Step 11.Rinse the chicken under cool water, trim and set aside. Pour barbecue sauce, chicken broth, bouillon, garlic powder, onion and Worcestershire sauce into the slow cooker then stir to combine.

Step 22.Add chicken to the sauce, cover and cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 8 hours. Just before serving, use a wooden spoon to break it into shreds. Once the chicken is shredded, allow it to cook in the sauce until thickened. Serve as-is or with a little extra barbecue sauce on the side. Enjoy!
