This is a recipe I put together while camping! I have to say I got many compliments! Seeing as we were camping I didnt have much to work with, as far as seasoning. Have to say This is a winner winner chicken dinner!!!

    chicken legs
  • 2 pkg
    pre-sliced portabella mushrooms
  • ·
    butter
  • 1
    onion sliced
  • 1 can(s)
    pepsi
  • ·
    salt and pepper

How to Make Pepsi Chicken & Mushrooms

Step-by-Step

  1. Salt and pepper chicken legs. Grill chicken on all sides giving nice grill marks.
    In the mean time melt a few tabs of butter in fry pan over fire or electric skilled, and onions till softened. Add mushrooms and saute for a few minutes.
  2. Add grilled chicken to skillet, pour can of pepsi over, bring to boil, then turn to simmer and cook down for 15-20 minutes till internal chicken is done.
  3. I put this together while camping, didnt have many spices with me. The pepsi gives this chicken and mushroom dish such a great flavor!
