This is my version of Chicken Divan. I substituted stuffing instead of bread crumbs which adds a whole new dimension to the dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 c
    chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 2 c
    broccoli florets chopped
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 c
    miracle whip
  • 1/2 c
    mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp
    curry powder
  • 8 oz
    cheese (cheddar or colby jack)
  • 1 box
    stove top stuffing made according to box directions

How to Make My Chicken Divan Casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. Cut the chicken in small cubes and saute with a little oil and sprinkle of salt and curry powder.
  2. In large casserole dish layer the chicken. Then add a layer of chopped broccoli florets.
  3. Mix together the chicken soup, miracle whip, mayonnaise and curry powder. Layer that on top of broccoli.
  4. Add cheese, then stuffing. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until cheese is hot and bubbling.
