mom's "oh my" chicken
My mom was not the best cook as we were growing up in fact I remember sitting at the table and hearing my Dad ask "another science project Marylin?". Sounds mean but let me tell you she had a couple of recipes and she would knock it out the park. One was her "Oh My" chicken. My Dad's words when she made this.

Ingredients
- 5 large boneless chicken breast
- 2 packages country gravy mix
- 7 ounces cream of mushroom soup
- 2 medium green bell peppers
- 2tbs - vegetable oil
- 2 cups longrain rice
- 1tbs - garlic salt
- 1tbs - knorr chicken flavor bouillon
- 2tbs - butter
How To Make mom's "oh my" chicken

Step 1cut chicken breast into strips 1inch by 4 inches and brown in the oil with the garlic salt in stages.

Step 2Cook the country gravy according to the package directions and add the mushroom soup with gravy.

Step 3Cut the bell peppers into strips1 inch by 4 inches and add into the gravy mixture.

Step 4When the chicken is browned through add it also to the gravy and simmer while covered.

Step 5Boil 4 cups water and add butter and chicken bouillon and a pinch of salt and add 2cups rice when mixed in.

Step 6When rice is completed scoop onto plate and smother with the chicken gravy mixture.
